If you are a veteran or first responder in Fort Lauderdale or elsewhere in South Florida looking for another treatment option for PTSD, treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, OCD, chronic pain, or a recovery-related condition, One Mind Ketamine is here to help you understand your options.
We provide physician-led care at our Fort Lauderdale clinic for people who may already have experience with medications, therapy, pain management, recovery support, or other forms of treatment. We start by understanding what you are dealing with, what you have already tried, and what care you already have in place.
Ketamine is FDA-approved for anesthesia. Its use for psychiatric, pain, and substance-use conditions is off-label, meaning these uses have not been FDA-approved for those indications.
Seeking another treatment option does not necessarily mean starting over.
If you already work with a therapist who knows your history, a psychiatrist managing medication, a physician treating chronic pain, an addiction counselor supporting your recovery, or another healthcare professional, those relationships can remain part of your care.
With your permission, we can coordinate with professionals already involved in your treatment, including therapists, psychiatrists, primary care clinicians, pain-management providers, addiction counselors, and other treating professionals.
Our role is focused: providing medically supervised IV ketamine care while supporting continuity with the treatment relationships you already have.
Your first step is a free consultation. We use that conversation to learn more about your concerns, treatment history, and questions about ketamine care.
When IV ketamine is appropriate, our medical team develops an individualized treatment plan based on your needs and the condition being treated.
One Mind focuses exclusively on intravenous administration of ketamine. We do not provide at-home ketamine, lozenges, nasal ketamine, or intramuscular ketamine.
Treatment is physician-led, with infusions overseen by board-certified anesthesiologists. Patients are clinically monitored during treatment and given time to recover before leaving the clinic.
For mental health care, our standard treatment series consists of six IV ketamine infusions over two to three weeks. Chronic pain and addiction-focused care follow different protocols based on the condition and individual clinical needs.
During an infusion, patients remain under clinical monitoring while IV ketamine is administered. After treatment, patients have time to recover before leaving the clinic and must arrange transportation home.
Our IV-only approach, physician oversight, and individualized treatment planning give patients a clear clinical framework for exploring ketamine as another care option.
Transportation also needs to be planned in advance because patients cannot drive themselves home after an IV ketamine infusion.
For patients completing the full six-session protocol, One Mind offers a concierge transportation service with door-to-door transportation for treatment.
Veterans and first responders receive 15% off at One Mind Ketamine.
If you are exploring another treatment option for PTSD, treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, OCD, chronic pain, or treatment-resistant addiction, you can start by telling us what you have tried and what you are looking for now.
Our team can answer your questions, explain how care at One Mind works, and help determine whether IV ketamine may be appropriate for you.
IV ketamine can have short-term side effects. In National Institutes of Health research examining a single low-dose IV ketamine infusion in people with treatment-resistant depression, reported effects included dissociation, dizziness, and sleepiness. That analysis did not address side effects associated with repeated infusions or long-term use. Ketamine also has a history of misuse and is a Schedule III controlled substance.
We evaluate patients before treatment and provide clinical monitoring during IV ketamine infusions. Your consultation is an opportunity to discuss risks, current medications, health history, and questions specific to your care.
