Ketamine Therapy in South Florida

Your Journey to Transformation Starts Here

Discover the Healing Power of Ketamine Therapy

At One Mind Ketamine in South Florida, we offer a modern, research-backed approach to healing through ketamine therapy. This breakthrough treatment uses ketamine—an FDA-approved anesthetic—administered via intravenous (IV) for rapid, targeted relief.

Ketamine therapy has shown powerful potential in transforming the lives of those struggling with treatment-resistant conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, addiction, eating disorders, and chronic pain syndromes like fibromyalgia and neuropathic pain.

Unlike traditional medications, ketamine works on the brain’s NMDA receptors to promote neuroplasticity, restore healthy brain connectivity, and interrupt harmful thought loops. The result? A renewed sense of clarity, resilience, and hope—especially for those who haven’t found success with conventional therapies.

Questions? We’re Here to Answer Them

What is ketamine therapy used for?

Ketamine therapy is used to treat a range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD,

and other mood or trauma-related diagnoses—especially when traditional treatments

haven’t entirely worked. It can also be used in the management of chronic pain conditions

such as CRPS or other neuropathic pain conditions.

At therapeutic doses, ketamine can help disrupt unproductive thought patterns, ease

emotional and physical distress, and create a sense of clarity, calm, and renewed openness

to healing.

How many sessions will I need?

Most patients start with a 6-session protocol over 2–3 weeks, a structure that is supported

by many clinical research trials. This series helps build momentum and unlock deeper, more

lasting results. While many find that the initial protocol creates a lasting shift, some patients

choose to return for occasional booster sessions as needed.

Is ketamine therapy safe?

Yes. Ketamine therapy is very safe when used by experienced providers in a clinical setting,

and we take extra precautions to ensure your comfort and safety. One Mind adheres to the

most rigorous standards in safety protocols, staff training, emergency medical supplies and

equipment. Unlike many clinics, One Mind is directed by a board-certified anesthesiologist

— the most qualified medical doctor for the safe administration of sedating IV medications.

What does a ketamine session feel like?

Every experience is unique. Most patients describe a sense of calm, emotional openness, or

deep introspection. Some have dreamlike visuals or out-of-body sensations. You’ll be in a

private, quiet treatment room, and most patients choose to wear an eye mask and listen to

music to support a focused, inward experience.

What if I’m already seeing a therapist or psychiatrist?

Ketamine works best when integrated into a comprehensive mental health plan. With your permission, we’ll coordinate with your existing provider to keep your care aligned, supported, and collaborative.

Do you take insurance?

Unfortunately, ketamine therapy is largely not covered by most insurers, so we are currently a self-pay clinic. Many patients use HSA or FSA funds, and we’re happy to provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

When will I start to feel better?

Everyone responds a little differently, but many patients begin to notice real changes in

their mood by the third infusion — sometimes even sooner. For others, it may take the full

6-session protocol to experience meaningful relief. Either way, we’ll monitor your progress

closely and adjust the plan together to make sure you’re on the right path.

Can I drive after treatment?

No. You cannot drive yourself home after your session. All patients must arrange transportation with a friend, family member, or a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Ketamine can temporarily impair coordination and awareness, so this policy is in place to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
